Having the privilege of being in the philanthropic sector for over a decade as an Executive Director and as a consultant for corporate and individual donors, I am well versed in directing funds for personalized giving; gaining maximum social impact; and creating donor legacies.

My experience provides me the expertise in a variety of charitable practices. My reputation for outcome-based programs allows a business approach for philanthropic capital to be utilized for quantitative results for measured evaluations.

I reap great joy from tailoring my clients’ passions into programs addressing the needs of the community. I believe in best practice strategies based on research, social engagement and clear communication. I am devoted to my work and always mindful about creating positive working relationships between donors and foundations to help pave the way for social change.

In my quest to guide and advise corporate and private funders, I have often wondered about the art and science of giving.  What I have learned through careful observation and relationship building is that giving, in any form, is much more than a business transaction. Even though giving often includes a monetary exchange in the form of a charitable contribution, this is altogether different than a typical business matter. Giving is both a synergy between the heart, and a responsibility to maximize a donor’s contribution through strategy, metrics, and a measurable return on investment. When a funder’s heart and head are in balance, the act of giving is far more impactful.
